- There should be, but *you* might have to make it! With the exception of the
- hardware details like the cable, the 2 proto's *should* work together.

- Where you are gonna get bit is in the cabling. The Amiga parallel port is a
- true bi-directional port. The PC's parallel port is anything but
- bidirectional! So the hardware problem is the PC's, and explains why the PC
- cable probably has some active circuitry either in the plug body, or worse
- yet, in the driver electronics on the non-PC end of the cable. Frankly,
- I've never really understood why a cottage industry hasn't popped up doing
- nothing but making adaptors that make the PC parallel port into a full
- bi-directional port. Who knows, maybe there is but I missed it cause I
- don't waste too much time on the PC specific rags. Look around in the
- shopper if you can find a wagon to carry it home in. There is an
- occassional gem in the little 2x2 black and white adds.
